When we created SnapMedic, we had one clear goal: to provide ambulance clinicians with the professional tools they need every day. September has been an exciting month of growth, new features and lots of behind the scenes improvements. These will let us build better and faster.

Lets see what we've been up to this month.

Growing Our Community

This month we've seen fantastic growth with 588 new downloads across iOS and Android! Our total downloads have now reached 3,202 (2,275 on iOS and 927 on Android), and we're seeing more clinicians syncing their data between devices.

We rely on alot of word of the mouth growth to reach clinicans so please keep sharing.

Ambassador Program Success

The Snap Ambassador scheme, launched on July 6th, continues to grow. Our ambassadors are community volunteers who share SnapMedic within their networks and test new builds before public release.

We've grown by 8 new ambassadors this month, bringing our total to 66 ambassadors! These users are helping shape the future of SnapMedic with their feedback and support.

September Feature Updates

You can read all about our new features here but, we shall share some of the highlights here.

# Major Updates

v3 Shift Tracker Our new shift tracking system lets you log your shifts and timesheets locally before exporting or transferring to your trust's scheduling system. It certainly beats writing it all down or taking a photo of the NMA at the end of a shift.

PRO & GRS Sync Launch We've introduced SnapMedic Pro with our first premium feature - GRS Sync! This allows automatic syncing of your shift tracker with shifts from GRS, saving hours of manual data entry each month.

# Smaller But Mighty Features

  • Cardiac Arrest BLS v ALS Modes: Switch between Basic and Advanced Life Support modes
  • Cardiac Arrest Metronome: Keep perfect compression timing during resuscitation (designed for responders without monitors including GoodSAM)
  • Abdominal Assessments: New comprehensive abdominal examination aide
  • IIMARCH: Added this essential tool for comanders at incidents

Everything but the ambulance, ready in your pocket

What's Next?

We're not slowing down! Here's what we're working on for the coming months:

  • Mental Capacity Aide: A comprehensive tool to help assess and document mental capacity decisions
  • Pro Customisation Options: Enhanced personalisation features including the ability to favourite pages for quick access
  • PE & DVT Calculators: Clinical decision tools for assessing pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis risk

Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, thank you for your continued support in making SnapMedic the best clinical toolkit for UK ambulance clinicians.
