About the app
SnapMedic is a free clinical tools and learning app built for UK ambulance clinicians and pre-hospital responders. Whether you are a working paramedic, an ambulance technician, an NQP, a student paramedic on placement, a Community First Responder, an event medic or a private medical provider, SnapMedic puts the calculators, references and logging tools you need into one offline-first app.
The app includes a cardiac arrest timer and intervention logger, NEWS2 and GCS calculators, a searchable drug reference, AI-powered OSCE practice scenarios, clinical flashcards (including ECG and rhythm strip recognition), a shift and skills tracker, and a CPD portfolio. Core clinical tools work offline where supported; AI OSCE practice needs an internet connection.

Is SnapMedic free?
Yes. SnapMedic is free to download on iOS and Android and is available as a web app. Core clinical tools remain free and there are no ads. Optional Pro and Pro+ subscriptions add more AI OSCE practice each week, plus GRS Sync.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. SnapMedic is built offline-first, so the cardiac arrest logger, NEWS2 and GCS calculators, drug reference, flashcards and CPD portfolio all work without a signal — essential for use in the back of an ambulance or rural placements.

How is patient data handled?
The intervention log is designed as a temporary notepad. It is not designed for persistent data storage and must not be used for patient information.
