Applicants, apprentices, ambulance support roles, volunteer responders, experienced clinicians, educators and mentors are all welcome. Different stages of the job are useful to one another.
A standby point is where a crew waits between jobs. The other meaning matters here too: somebody standing by who has faced the same question before.

Respect the crew.
Never share patient-identifiable details. Ask about the general learning point, not the job. Peer discussion is not live clinical advice: use JRCALC, local policy and your service’s clinical-support routes for patient-care decisions.
There is no prize for making somebody feel stupid. Answer constructively or leave it for somebody who can. Report concerns privately to the moderation team.
