On the vehicle.
Crews start a record offline against an incident or CAD reference. Each patient at an incident gets their own record, so a call with two patients does not turn into one muddled form.
- Observations, interventions, cardiac arrest events and crew notes in one record.
- Adult NEWS2 supports review of the observation set.
- Medicines recorded against your formulary: quantity, unit and route, with separate administration, witness and disposal signatures where required.
Two crew, one record.
A second crew member does not start a second form. They join the same record by its exact reference and add what they saw. Every field says who wrote it.
Paper goes missing and gets filled in unevenly. Here the record is in one place, and nobody types it up after the shift.
At handover.
A clinician locks the record. They see any missing required fields first and write a reason to finish with gaps. The record then shows a case reference and a 6-digit PIN.
The receiving hospital enters the reference and PIN on our cases portal, with the patient's date of birth, and downloads the record. They need no account. After locking, anything received later appears as a late entry.
Set up for your service.
We switch ePCR on for your organisation. Your administrators build and publish the forms in the Console, with a second person approving each one, and set named permissions. Access is controlled by named permissions, with audit logging and encryption. Members sign in with email codes and an authenticator.

Common questions.
Can crews record without signal?
Yes. A clinician can start a record against an incident or CAD reference offline. Changes save on the device and send automatically when it is online. Two crew members on the same open record see each other's changes within seconds while both are online.
Can two crew members work on the same patient record?
Yes. A colleague finds the draft by exact incident reference or record ID and joins the same record. Every field keeps its author and time, and an edit keeps the earlier value in the history.
Can we keep our own patient form and formulary?
Yes. You build your own forms in the Console, starting from a SnapMedic ambulance service template or a blank form, and keep several live forms side by side if you run more than one kind of work. A second person approves a form before it goes live. Bring your current paper form to the first conversation.
Does it connect to our CAD system?
Not live. A CAD number or job reference is recorded as an external reference on the patient record. There is no live dispatch integration.
