A lot happened in March. AI OSCE Practice came out of beta, we launched Pro+, shipped version 6.7 with shift rotas and wellbeing tools, and passed 11,000 downloads. Let's recap.

Growing our community

Over 1,200 new users joined SnapMedic in March, roughly the same as February. We're now past 11,000 downloads across iOS and Android, with 86% based in the UK.

If you've found SnapMedic useful, please leave a review on the App Store or Google Play. It makes a real difference to how many clinicians find us.

AI OSCE Practice is out of beta

AI OSCE Practice is now fully live. After a beta period with ambassadors and early testers, the feature rolled out to all users with both Checklist mode and AI Chat mode.

293 unique users started 604 sessions in March. AI Chat mode was more popular than Checklist, and 70% of sessions were at foundation difficulty, which makes sense as people get used to it before moving up.

Chat mode puts you in a conversation with an AI virtual patient who responds to your questions and assessments. Checklist mode is a structured self-assessment that works anywhere, even offline. Both are there when you need to practise and a sim room isn't available.

Version 6.7

We shipped a big update this month. Version 6.7 adds automatic shift rotas with a calendar view, wellbeing tracking with mood check-ins and hot debriefs, and better offline reliability.

You can now define a repeating rota pattern (cycle or weekly) and have shifts generated automatically. No more logging the same schedule week after week. The wellbeing side adds mood check-ins on the home dashboard and structured hot debriefs using the STOP framework. We also updated the drug and conditions data to March 2026 and worked through a pile of accessibility and bug fixes.

What's next

We're writing new OSCE scenarios for April, covering a wide range of topics. Wellbeing updates and user feedback features are planned as well.

Thank you

As always thank you for using SnapMedic and thank you for sharing with your colleagues. We are continuing to build and grow and lets see where we end up.

If you haven't tried AI OSCE Practice yet, give it a go. If you have, I'd love to hear how it went. Drop us a message or leave a review on the App Store or Google Play.

See you next month.
